Yoga Class: Mon 5th Oct 20 Heart Chakra
In this class we look at the fourth Chakra energy centre in the body which is the Heart Chakra also known as the Anahata Chakra in Sanskrit.
Through the practice of heart and chest opening stretches such as cobra and sphinx pose we can stimulate energy at the heart centre. While poses such as child pose allows us to nurture ourselves especially when we need to heal 'a broken' heart. Working on the heart centre helps us to tap into our ability to feel love, compassion and empathy for ourselves and others.
Throughout this Chakra series we work on balancing out these energy centres to release blockages and invite energy to flow and heal the body and mind.
